Giving Back

If you are a previous or current patient of Dr. Nukta and have a charity organization that is important to you please let us know. We are dedicated to supporting our patients through their philanthropic work and giving back to the community.

Syrian Relief and Development:

NOVA Plastic Surgery supports the non-profit’s goal of providing and distributing humanitarian relief for the citizens of Syria who have been subjected to violence, intimidation, fear and torture. Through fundraising efforts we hope to be able to provide relief for the people who have been affected during this time of turmoil.

Syrian American Medical Aide (SAMS):

SAMS is an educational and humanitarian organization dedicated to providing education, support, and aid for those in need in Syria.

Amyotrophic Lateral Scloerosis (ALS) Association:

ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease which affects as many as 30,000 Americans. NOVA Plastic Surgery is dedicated to spreading awareness of this debilitating disease an supporting the fundraising efforts of the ALS Association in their research to find a cure. As a practice we are participating in the annual Walk to D’Feet ALS in Washington D.C. on October 21st. Please visit our walking page to support our fundraising efforts.

Best Buddies:

As a practice we were able to support a wonderful organization, Best Buddies. Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through support for this organization we are helping improve the lives of people with disabilities. Please visit their website to learn what you can do to support Best Buddies.

Alzheimer’s Association:

Alzheimer’s Disease is a progressive form of dementia.  As many as 5.1 million American’s currently have Alzheimer’s Disease. As a practice we are supporting the fundraising efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association in hopes of one day finding a cure.
