About Our Founder
Fadi Nukta, MD is a Northern Virginia Hand Surgeon and Plastic Surgeon trained at Yale New Haven Hospital. Subsequently, Dr. Nukta was on the Kleinert Hand Surgery team that performed one of the world’s first hand transplants.
Dr. Nukta served as Chief Resident of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the University of Massachusetts (2008-2009), taught hand surgery (2009-2011), and came to Virginia to establish NOVA Plastic Surgery, overseeing both cosmetic and traumatic hand injury surgery.
