What is ProFractional Laser?

The Profractional laser is a new advancement in laser technology manufactured by one of the leaders in the field, Sciton. The ProFractional laser is an erbium:YAG laser that treats a “fraction” of the skin by creating thousands of micro-channels into the tissue, deep below the epidermis, which promotes your skin to produce collagen. Collagen is responsible for the plump, youthful appearance of the skin. The stimulation of new collagen will smooth out fine lines, wrinkles, scars and other irregularities. The untreated surrounding tissue promotes rapid healing and decreases the length of downtime.
